How Sun Local matching works
We're a free service that connects Florida homeowners with licensed local pros. Here's exactly what happens to your request.
What happens after you ask
- You tell us the job, your ZIP code and how soon you need it.
- We send your request to up to 3 licensed pros who serve your area and do that kind of work.
- They call or text you to arrange a visit or a quote. You choose one, or none.
How we choose pros
- An active Florida licence for the trade, checked on the state DBPR database.
- Proof of general liability insurance.
- No pattern of unresolved complaints that we can find.
How we're paid
Pros pay us a fee for requests we send them. You pay nothing to us. Our fee never changes what a pro is allowed to charge you, and you should always get written quotes.
What we don't do
We don't do construction work, sell insurance or give medical advice. Our guides explain Florida rules in plain language and link to the official sources.
